Easytrieve to Spectrum Writer Conversion Helper

As mentioned in the Easytrieve conversion FAQ, there is no program (that we know of) that converts an entire Easytrieve program to Spectrum Writer. But this conversion "helper" can give you a headstart in your conversion process. By letting this conversion helper perform some of the routine conversion work for you (specifically, the input record layouts) you can save lots of time and effort. To see a demonstration using the sample Easytrieve statements above, just click the Convert button.

How to Use this Tool
Simply paste your Easytrieve file definition code in the left-hand box above. Then press the Convert button. The conversion helper will parse through the Easytrieve file definitions and create Spectrum Writer file definition statements that will be useful in your conversion process.
